Christmas Decorating!

Wow, this past weekend we have been putting up Christmas decorations... The Christmas tree, the Christmas lights, and more! My mom and I still have more to put up though. We love putting up Christmas decorations every year. I have posted some pictures of the decorations we did this weekend. I will post more pictures in the next couple of days... Enjoy! :)

The first ornament being situated on the Christmas tree!
Jessa waited to put this little star on the tree for about an hour.
She kept saying to my mom and I, "I'm waiting patiently!!!"
When it was time for her to put the star on the tree, I had to
take a picture!!! :) How cute!

The ribbons, beads, and the little star
Jessa put on the tree! You can see it on the right
side at the top!

The many ornaments!

Jessa having a blast playing with ornaments!
We did have about four ornaments break in the process
though!

I thought this ornament was sweet.

I love this ornament. It reminds me of
a sweet, young lady bringing fresh cookies
to the table for her family to enjoy! :)

This is an all-time favorite of mine!
Jesus died for us on the Cross to save us from our
sins! What a blessing! :)

My brother, Tyler, helping with ornaments.
Some of them just didn't want to sit right!

This is the back of my brother's t-shirt. He didn't
know that I took the picture, but I wanted to share it with you all.
I think this t-shirt is really neat! :)

My pink Christmas tree! I decorated
it yesterday, and placed it in my room!

Almost done... Just a few more final
touches!

It's complete!!! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello Friends!
I want to start out with wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!!! I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed day, as we thank God for everything we have!
Today, I am going to post nine verses from the Book of Psalms which talk about praising His name! Here are the verses:

1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.

2 Oh, give thanks to the God of gods!
For His mercy endures forever.

3 Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords!
For His mercy endures forever:

4 To Him who alone does great wonders,
For His mercy endures forever;

5 To Him who by wisdom made the heavens,
For His mercy endures forever;

6 To Him who laid out the earth above the waters,
For His mercy endures forever;

7 To Him who made great lights,
For His mercy endures forever—

8 The sun to rule by day,
For His mercy endures forever;

9 The moon and stars to rule by night,
For His mercy endures forever.

~ From Psalm 136

Wow, praise the Lord for those wonderful verses. The Book of Psalms has so many encouraging and special verses throughout it. I hope you have enjoyed the daily Scripture reading. I hope to do this again in the near future. Maybe I will do one for Christmas. It's amazing how close Christmas is.
Well, I hope you have a very blessed day! May God bless you and your family on this very special holiday!

Happy Turkey Day,

Scripture and More...

Hello Dear Friends!
I would like to open up this post with today's Bible Verse:

"Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever."
~ Psalm 107:1

I hope this verse refreshes your mind and soul!

I would like to continue on and share with you a post from Miss Jasmine Baucham's blog, "Joyfully Home." Today, she wrote about the very popular movie and book, "Twilight." Here is the link to her wonderfully written post:

I encourage you to take some time and read this post. I agree 100% with her thoughts! Miss Jasmine also has a link on her blog to a post written by the Botkin sisters on the same topic. I will share with you the link to this post as well:

Monday's Bible Scripture

Hello Friends!
I would like to share with you today's verse from God's Word:

"Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples."
~ Psalm 105:1

I hope this verse blesses you. We do need to make known His name and His deeds among others. That way, He will live not only through us, but through others!
I would also like to share a couple of quotes by Benjamen Franklin. I am reading his biography right now in school and found some of his quotes very interesting. Here are a few:

"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest."
~ Benjamen Franklin

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."
~ Benjamen Franklin

"Work as if you were to live a hundred years. Pray as if you were to die tomorrow."
~ Benjamen Franklin

Benjamen Franklin was a very wise man, with many well said quotes. I encourage you to look up a few of his quotes. I did, and definitely found them neat to read.

Blessings to you and your family!

Thanksgiving Is Coming!

Thanksgiving is next Thursday, and I wanted to share a few things I am thankful for!

I am thankful for God. He has blessed me in so many ways. He's given me a wonderful family and great friends. God is always there for me when I need anything. He's provided His Word for us to read, and it has truly blessed me. He sent His one and only Son to die on the Cross to take away our sins. Oh, how thankful I am for God! :)

I am thankful for my family. They are always there for me when I need support. My amazing parents have taught me how to be a Christ-follower and pleasing to Him. My two wonderful siblings, Tyler and Jessa, have shared many fun times with me. They are all so special and dear to me! Oh, how thankful I am for my family! :)

I am thankful for my friends. They are there for me when I need a little "lift-me-up". So many good friendships have formed in my life. I am thankful for each one. When you're with friends, there is so much laughter and fun! God has blessed me with some real great friends. God places certain people in your life for a reason! Oh, how thankful I am for my friends! :)

The list could go on forever... I am thankful for my home, for food and water, for animals, and for transportation. All the things I am thankful for lead back to God. He's the one who has given me the many things I'm thankful for.
I would love to hear what you are thankful for. Leave a comment in this post and share with me what you are thankful for.
Also, I am going to post a verse from the Bible each day until Thanksgiving. May those verses bless you... Today's verse is:

"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name."
~Psalm 100:4

All the verses I will share with you this week are from the Book of Psalm. What a wonderful book in the Bible to read. Praise be to God!

Blessings To You And Your Family,

Just a few photos...

These photographs are just a few I wanted to share with you. I've taken them in the last couple of days!
Enjoy! :)
This is one of Jessa's new shirts. I had to take a
picture of it and share with you! :)

This week, we gave our three dogs a bath...
Fun, Fun! This is Jolie, our bichon frise.

Don't be hiding... You're next! :)
This is Carly, our half maltese, half miniature schnauzer

This is my baby, Elvis!!! :)

My precious Mother! :)
Proverbs 31: 25-28
She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.
Those verses from Proverbs are wonderful and I feel so blessed to have a mother who has such a strong relationship with Christ.
Mom, may God bless you as you live a life following God and His Word. I thank the Lord for you each and every day. You are a very special person in my life and I thank you for supporting me in everything I do. May God have His hand on you at all times!
