Birds, Squirrels, and Gators...

......OH MY!!!!!

I've seen so many wild animals in and around our yard the past few days!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I feel so blessed to have a wonderful camera, in which I can take beautiful pictures of the Lord's Creation. Speaking of my camera, a few of my dear readers have asked me some questions regarding the size of my lens. My lens is a 55-200 mm. If you are interested in reading more about you camera, click here. You will find some information about my camera in the link provided. (By the way, the camera I use is actually my dear Mother's, but she allows me to use it! Thank you Mama!)
Now, onto the photographs!
I thought this picture was quite unique, because of the lighting!
We have quite a few hawks in our neighborhood. I have really enjoyed
taking pictures of them!
The hawk and the squirrel happened to be right near each other!
Are squirrels not cute, or what?!?!?! :)
Such a sweet creation of God!
Precious!
This is my favorite photograph! :)
Now... The alligator. This big guy was swimming around in our neighbor's pond! I was quite shocked when my brother called us from out in the pasture (he was on his horse) and said that there was an alligator next door! I am not fond of alligators, but I had to take some quick shots of this guy! :)
Such great photos! You get so close- even with my zoom, I can't get such clarity. I love the hawk/squirrel one- how ironic :D Is that a kestrel? I can't imagine living where alligators roam!!!!!!!!
Thank you, Lindsay and Grace! :)
Mrs. Quinn, I don't know much about birds, so I'm not sure if it's a kestrel or not!
It makes me nervous just knowing that alligators live here! Yikes!
Have a blessed day, and thank you for commenting!
An alligator?! Whoa! There was a HUGE alligator found in the lake that's 25 minutes from my house. I mean, this guy was HUGE!!! Like, eat-a-human-in-one-bite huge! I was freaked and REFUSED to go swimming in the lake after that... lol =D
I love the pictures, Jenna!
Wow... an alligator! The colors in that photograph are amazing... the pond is such a vibrant green!
I loved all of your pictures (squirrels are awesome! =D) but I think that my favorite is your first one... I love the black in it!
What neat pictures, Jenna! You're very good at photography. :) Where I live we don't have squirrels, so those were cute pictures of them! And wow, how neat to see an alligator right next door!!
God bless and have a wonderful day!
The characteristics that our awesome Creator placed in some animals is too cute (Sqirrels are a perfect example!) I also like your profile picture, I wonder when you got it???? :D
Blessings to you and your sweet family!
