The Spring Frolic

This past weekend, I was blessed to attend a local event at an old pioneer settlement. The day was filled with delightful fellowship, photography, music, and contra-dancing… Yes, ‘twas a wonderful day, indeed!

The Lord blessed us with beautiful weather, which enabled me to take lots of photographs! Enjoy…

Looks like a fun place - we have a historical village near my house as well and it is always one of my favorite places to visit.

Lovely Jenna! I so appreciate the reminder from my southern friends that spring will be arriving soon! We still have no leaves on the trees, let alone flowers!

Hello Jenna,

Very lovely photos! I especially like the one where the butterfly was in mid-air getting ready to land on the flower. :)

The pioneer settlement pictures where fabulous also--it looks like it was a very neat place to visit. And the contra dancing sounds fun, too. Shannon has told me that there are get togethers in the spring in fall where you dance.

Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog! I'm glad that you enjoyed the interview with Shannon-she truly is a sweet blogging friend...I've been privileged to get to know her through email for several months now. :)

Blessings,
Moriah

Hello Miss Bethany Joy,

Thank you for your sweet comment! I did not sew the skirt that I wore to the Spring Frolic, although I recently sewed a skirt with a dear friend of mine! I hope to post pictures of it soon!

Many Blessings,
Jenna

P.S. Thank you all for the kind comments!

Hello Jenna!

Thanks for replying to my comment! The skirt looks very cute, even though I can't see the whole thing. Is it a tiered (?) skirt? I have a few tiered skirts, and I really like them.

I have enjoyed reading your blog. It such an encouragement and all your photos are beautiful! What kind of camera do you use?

Feel free to drop my blog!

Blessings, Jenna!

I believe we met at some point at Barberville, I'm a friend of Jean Marie! Barberville has to be one of my favorite things....*sigh* performing, dancing, seeing old friends and meeting new people!
I hope to see you at Barberville in the fall!
