~Happy Thanksgiving~

For flowers that bloom about your feet;

For tender grass, so fresh, so sweet;

For song of bird, and hum of bee;

For all things fair we hear or see;

Father in Heaven, we thank Thee!

Thankfulness

CSC_0271

“ Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift. ”

~ 2 Corinthians 9:15 ~

Thanksgiving Day is approaching, and I am looking forward to the wonderful time planned with family. I am thankful for so many things, although there is one thing I am immensely grateful for… That is Jesus Christ, God’s indescribable gift to all of us. Words cannot begin to describe how much He did for us, and how much He loves us. This Thanksgiving (and everyday), remember to express gratitude towards God and those who surround you… Have a merry and cheerful heart, one that shines the love of Christ!

21 Blessed Years

Today is my parent’s 21st Wedding Anniversary. My heart fills with joy as I think of the beautiful love they have for each other.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

~~~
Daddy and Mama,
The Lord has blessed you with 21 beautiful years of marriage. The incredible love you have for each other shines throughout you, and it is a blessing to see. May the Lord continue to strengthen your marriage, and may He bless you with many more joyful years!
With Much Love,
Jenna
Dress Pattern
Thank you so much, dear friends, for all the thoughtful comments on the Feelin’ Feminine posts! I had a delightful time participating!
Some of you were wondering which pattern I used to sew the dress I wore on Day Seven… I used New Look 6910, which is a Simplicity pattern. Here is a link to the pattern online:
New Look 6910
I made dress D and also lengthened the bottom a little bit, due to my height! I’m sure you can find it in most sewing/fabric stores… I purchased the pattern from Jo-Ann Fabrics. Please let me know if you have any other questions! May the Lord bless you, dear friends!
Your Sister In Christ,
Jenna
• ¼ cup parsley, chopped
• ½ teaspoon dried marjoram or basil
• 1 bay leaf
Place all ingredients except noodles in the Crock Pot. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Remove chicken and bay leaf from pot; take meat from bones, dice and return to broth, and add the noodles. Cook another hour or until noodles are done (about 1/2 hour on high).
